Pumpkin Carving Contest
3:00 PM - 5:30 PM
Join us for a pumpkin carving contest at the North Shore, between the Chateau and the Visitor’s Center.
4 contest categories based on age (0-5, 6-11, 12-17, and 18+ years).
Prizes will include a 2024 park sticker for the adult winner and additional prizes, yet to be determined, for the 0 to 17-year age groups.
We will supply the pumpkins and all carving supplies.
Carving will take place from 3:00 to 5:30 PM.
Judging will be done by Halloween Hikers.
Halloween Hike & Campfire
6:00 PM - 8:30 PM
Join us for a one-mile torch torch-lit hike, then stay and socialize by the fire. Sue Johansen-Mayoleth, our Park Naturalist will once again have a lot of fun activities including crafts and trivia, with a seasonal theme, yet to be determined, this year.
Show off your costume by the campfire.
Roast marshmallows for a s’more or two.
Enjoy tasty treats at the Chateau.
Learn about the selected theme and join us for crafts.
Pick up your trivia game cards at the Rock Elm Shelter before you head out on your hike.
Stop by our Selfie Station to capture some memories.
