Embark on a guided frog hike to immerse yourself in the enchanting evening chorus of croaks, trills, and peeps. On this nocturnal adventure, you’ll learn about the frogs found at Devil’s Lake as well as look and listen to our early frog singers - spring peepers, wood frogs, and chorus frogs. We’ll also keep our ears open for other nocturnal critters moving around as we hike the Johnson Moraine Trail. The hike will be a little over 1-mile on uneven terrain. Bring your flashlight as we’ll be hiking right around dusk. Meet at the Steinke Basin parking lot.
